ohmkara was born from a simple belief: life should be about more than simply getting through the day. It should leave room for connection, meaningful experiences and moments that allow people to slow down and truly enjoy the present.
Founded by Hinal Patel following her years in the corporate world, ohmkara began as a personal journey towards a more meaningful way of life. What started as Hinal’s vision has since evolved into a shared passion, with her husband, Kush, joining her to build ohmkara into the family-led business it is today. Together, Hinal and Kush bring their individual experiences, shared values and passion for hospitality to create something truly distinctive, a destination where heritage, thoughtful details and the joy of bringing people together sit at the heart of everything.
At the heart of ohmkara is the belief that the way people feel matters just as much as the experiences they enjoy.
The spa was the beginning of that journey, creating a space for people to pause, exhale and reconnect with themselves. Its emphasis on considered rituals, relaxation and meaningful moments continues to shape the thoughtful hospitality that defines ohmkara today.
The dining experience tells a different, yet equally personal, story. Inspired by Indian heritage, family traditions and recipes passed down through generations, the food celebrates the flavours, memories and stories that make Indian cuisine so special. Each dish is prepared with care, bringing the warmth of traditional home cooking into an intimate and distinctive dining experience.
Set within beautifully designed private dining spaces, from glass orangeries surrounded by greenery to the secluded Secret Garden Room, guests can enjoy their own space, their own company and an experience that feels entirely personal. With no shared tables and the freedom to bring their own drinks, every visit is an opportunity to celebrate, reconnect and create lasting memories.
The ohmkara experience extends beyond the dining table through a collection of handcrafted home fragrances, made in small batches using soy wax and carefully selected essential oils. Each product reflects the same thoughtful approach that runs through every part of the business.
